Book Review: Married for Christmas by Noelle Adams

Married for Christmas (Willow Park, #1)Married for Christmas by Noelle  Adams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jessica and Daniel are best friends. Daniel is a widower and a pastor and the congregation he wants is hesitant to hire an unmarried pastor. Jessica is single and she wants roots and a family.  Jessica suggests that they get married so that they both get what they want and need. But, Jessica, who actually loves Daniel, finds herself struggling to live up to the expectations she has set for herself as a pastor’s wife and living with Daniel without sharing her love for him.

Well, I’ll be…My good old agnostic self kinda really liked this book. This is the first book in which religion is important that I didn’t feel like it was trying to shove religion down my throat. I found it lovely, sweet and a great read. I was ready to dislike this book, but I really liked it instead. Noelle Adams was able to create two lovely characters for whom religion was important without making religion the overall message of the book.

This is a lovely story.
