Book Review: The Judge Who Hated Red Nail Polish: And Other Crazy but True Stories of Law and Lawyers

The Judge Who Hated Red Nail Polish: And Other Crazy but True Stories of Law and Lawyers (USA Today/Nolo Series)

The Judge Who Hated Red Nail Polish by Ilona Bray and Richard Stim, (editors)

Do you want to know about your legal options if you buy an haunted house? What about cases involving people in chicken costumes? Rights of free speech for chickens? Which celebrities have law degrees? Craziest lawsuits? A judge duct taping the defendant's mouth so he would stop talking? Then, this is the book for you.

I'll confess, I am a lawyer, so I may find this book funnier than some. But, it was so funny and full of interesting trivia. The triviality of this book was refreshing. It is full of interesting aspects of the law. Whether you are in a legal field or not, you will find it funny.

The only thing that bothered me a little is the fact checking. And example is the summary of the movie A Time to Kill. The little girl does not die, that is made clear pretty early on (10 minutes in).
