Today I saw "The Motorcycle Diaries". It was a great movie. This is the story of a young Che Guevara (One of the leaders of the Cuban Revolution) and his travels across South America in 1954. The movie is excellently made. It's funny and entertaining but also, thoughtful and moving. The acting of Gael García Bernal ("The Crime of Padre Amaro", "Amores Perros" and "Don't Temp Me") was excellent and the appearance of Mia Maestro ("Frida" and "In the time of Butterflies"), even though it was small, was a definite plus. This story starts as an adventure between two friends, Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granados (played by Rodrigo de la Serna) and ends up being an emotional journey in which these characters discover their identities and their future. I recommend everyone to go and see this movie. It was a very enjoyable movie.
